Flying a Kite:

To fly a kite, you have to follow some simple, fun steps.  The first step that you should take when flying a kite is getting a kite.  You can build a kite, but we will skip how to do that today.  Now that you have your kite, take the kite to a location where there is plenty of wind and space.  Both of these ingredients are major components of kite flying.  Some examples of great places to fly a kite are beaches or open fields by rivers.  When you have found your spot to fly the kite, hold the string of the kite in front of you with your back to the wind.  Then, turn your back toward the kite, hold your hand up and run directly into the wind.  This act will put the kite into the air, and it should catch the wind and pull away from you.  Hold on tight to the string!  Once the kite has caught the wind, keep tension on the string of the kite and let it out little by little.  When you're ready to finish flying, gradually pull the string back in the opposite direction.  That is all it takes to fly a kite!
